The Bread & Water of Life

There is an essential unity, or golden thread, if you will, which is the foundation of all religions, philosophies and systems of government. Consider the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost of the Judeo-Christian cosmology, or the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as guaranteed to us by America's founding fathers. These are just two ways that different people have translated their experience of this golden thread into frameworks adapted to their cultures and interests Religions, philosophies, and governments form the spokes of the Wheel of Life. They are frameworks giving definition to the HUB of the Wheel, which is the experience of Inner Light and Inner Sound: The Oneness..

This experience can be easily realized within yourself, right now, by sitting or lying down, quietly gazing into the spiritual eye (the place between your brows and slightly above them), and simply watching. Do not concentrate, force or focus, but rather open, more and more deeply, to receive. As you watch, you will begin to notice soft cloud-like patterns that pass freely through the inner sight. This is the Living Light; the Living Light that YOU ARE. This light can not be given to you or taken away from you. It is what you have always been, are now, and will always be. This is one face of the presence of God.

Among the many names given to the experience of Inner Light and Inner Sound, you may hear this called the Living Light, the Living Word, the Shabda, the Bani, the Music of the Spheres, the Audible Life Stream, the Sound Current, and the Primordial Sound. To partake of this each day is to receive unto yourself the communion that is represented in the Catholic Church as the blood and the body of Christ. This experience is common to all people, regardless of previous experience in this realm. Belief and faith are not required, nor are they encouraged. The only requirement for success on the spiritual quest is the courage born of a child-like curiosity, which strikes down delusions with sincerity and simplicity.
